Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology implementations for our enterprise clients. In this role, you'll manage multi-million dollar projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and exceed stakeholder expectations.

You'll work with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to deliver transformational technology solutions. Your strong technical background combined with exceptional project management skills will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects ($1M+ budgets)
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate stakeholder communications and manage executive expectations
• Lead Agile ceremonies and drive continuous process improvement
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solution quality and alignment
• Manage project budgets and financial forecasting
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO best practices

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical project management experience
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required
• Strong technical background in software development, infrastructure, or cloud technologies
• Proven track record delivering large-scale IT projects
• Expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project methodologies
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Monday.com)
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe, CSM, or other Agile certifications
• Experience with cloud transformation or digital transformation projects
• Prior consulting or professional services experience
• Experience managing distributed/remote teams
• Financial acumen and P&L management experience
• Master's degree or MBA
